In direct relation to the earth we believe that we have a responsibility to care for creation. We have a deep concern for the environment and as a result have developed a Sustainability Team asking: how can we be more earth friendly?

We are recycling, using mugs instead of disposable cups, looking at using alternative forms of energy and supporting any efforts that relate to creation care. We believe that since God called this planet good (Gen 1:31) we should treat it as such. We recognize that one day God will completely restore and renovate it, but until then we strive to protect and care for it as best we can. God has given us a way to continue to have a relationship with the earth that brings him glory.

Upcoming Events

June 26: Bike to Work Day

We encourage you to join the rest of Denver for Bike-to-Work Day on Wednesday, June 26. Take the opportunity to walk or bike to work and intentionally look at the neighborhoods you’re riding through and pray that God’s presence would be known.

June 30: Alternative Transportation Sunday

Our own version of Bike-to-Work day will be on Sunday, June 30. We ask that you ride your bike, take the light rail or bus, carpool, scooter…whatever you can do to get to DCC that morning to honor this creation God called good.

  • Security at Uptown: You can lock your bike up along the fence in the south parking lot and our security team and volunteers will watch over them while you participate in the Gathering.
  • Security at Wash Park: You can park your bikes in front of the building and our security team and volunteers will watch over them while you participate in the Gatherings.
