The mission of the Care Team is to care for, support, encourage, and journey alongside members of Denver Community Church and the greater community as they seek health and healing. We desire to help people who struggle with painful circumstances and issues (addictions, grief, mental health, relational conflicts, etc.) experience the love, guidance and healing of Christ. We provide counseling referrals, community resource referrals, and general support and follow-up. We also provide groups for health and healing. See our newest groups below.

The 12 Steps for Christians: The 12 Steps for Christians is a fellowship that embraces both the insights Scripture and the constructive wisdom of the 12 Steps as God’s most powerful gifts for recovery from self-destructive behavior. Our fellowship offers a beautiful opportunity for healing through our small group community and our primary texts, The Life Recovery Bible and The Twelve Steps for Christians. This fellowship is open to anyone who is looking for a way out any self-destructive behavior, whether it is addiction to drugs, alcohol, sex, control, anger, another’s addictive behavior, fear, judgment, or any other defect. We welcome anyone at anytime to join us! This Group meets on Thursdays from 7:00-8:00PM at DCC Wash Park in the Prayer Room. Please contact Scott Oppliger ( for more information or if you have questions.

Overcome is a nine-week series about dealing with mental health issues as a child of God. The next Overcome group will be meeting from September 24 – November 19. You can read more about it here and register for it here.
