DCC Kids Illness Guidelines

Clearly there are instances when it is necessary for a child to remain at home. Please remember, if your child is not well, he/she is more susceptible to other illnesses. The following list gives guidelines and recommendations for exclusion from Denver Community Church nursery.

We ask that if your child has experienced any of these illnesses that they be excluded from the Nursery and Classrooms until 24 hours after treatment has been started or cleared by your healthcare provider.

• Chicken Pox, Conjunctivitis, Strep Throat, Impetigo, Ringworm, Head lice, Herpes, Vaccine preventable Diseases, Upper Respiratory Complications, or Diarrhea with other illness.

For Mild Cold Symptoms (stuffy nose with clear drainage, sneezing, mild cough), child may attend if able to participate in activities. Volunteer needs to be alerted so they may take extra caution with sanitizing.
