Created for Connection
When: Saturday, April 14, 8:30 – 4:30.
Where: Denver Community Church/Wash Park
What: A one-day relationship event designed to enrich and enhance our connection with others: friends, family, dating and marriage. The content for this event is a dynamic blend of scientific research and biblical wisdom and is based on the ground-breaking book, Created for Connection, by marriage and relationship expert Dr. Sue Johnson. She is the developer of Emotionally Focused Therapy and author of Hold Me Tight, Love Sense and other books and articles.
We will explore how to be more open, attuned and responsive to those around us, thus deepening our emotional connection and enhancing our ability to love and be loved. Led by nationally-known author, speaker and Licensed Professional Counselor Alex Avila, our time together will be a balanced blend of teaching and breakout discussion times as couples or small groups.
So, whether you are single or married, dating or divorced, the mix of expert guidance, practical application, and directed discussion will provide a path to deeper love and more meaningful connection. We all want a life of love, support and faith, but sometimes we need a little help – this event could be just the help you need!
