The mission of the DCC Kid’s Program is to journey alongside families in order to educate and prepare children in how to follow Jesus in order to show God’s love. We believe that the best way to prepare a child is to directly teach these biblical truths; provide opportunities for them to practice these truths in the community; and provide role models who will walk alongside them as they learn these truths.

Celebration is one of our Practices at DCC. We celebrate who God is with creativity because we are all created to create, and to make the world we live in more beautiful for our Creator. One way we do this is through music on Sunday mornings.

Our building is not the church… it is a space in which we meet to learn more about, and serve God. It is a resource we can use to allow DCC and other organizations to use to serve our community. Our prayer is that our building becomes know as a safe place anyone can come to in time of difficulty and need.

Working as a cohesive body and seeing our Vision and Mission realized begins and ends with solid communication. The impact we can have as a collective group is incredible. We understand this cannot and will not happen without effectively communicating who we are, what we do, and how one can join us in this journey.

Technology is not only necessary – it is mandatory – for communication and to equip staff and the faith community for ministry. These elements, as long as they are chosen and used wisely, expand our effectiveness exponentially.

Financial accountability and transparency are essential in the life of a church. Using the contributions provided by our faith community must be managed with appropriate levels of prayer, thought, and oversight. We feel it is our Biblical mandate to do this well, as an example to our people and our community, about how those who serve God should honor what he has generously blessed us with.
